For those in the market for a new sports car, choosing between the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger can be quite the challenge. For the 2019 model year, both have returned as aggressive as ever and loaded with features. The Mustang’s design has been a draw for customers for decades, and its 2019 model is no exception. The Mustang comes in five distinct trim levels (including the popular Bullitt), two of which have an optional convertible body style in addition to the coupe. Several exterior colors and interior trims are available, too, to give drivers the customization they expect. Looks aren’t the only thing the Mustang has going for it, though. It also has three engine and two transmission options, with its standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost delivering an impressive 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. The Dodge Challenger only comes in a coupe body style, but there’s nothing this car lacks in the style department. Its interior is especially drool-worthy, offering a more spacious feel and various customization options to boost its athleticism. The Challenger’s standard engine isn’t quite up to par with the Mustang’s, but its Hellcat Redeye model features a 797-horsepower engine that’s sure to please any speed enthusiast.
