The 2019 Cadillac ATS-V and Jaguar F-Type are two of the most luxurious sports cars on the market, both with extreme styling, gorgeous interiors, and performance levels car enthusiasts drool over. The Cadillac ATS-V is in its final model year, so is it still a worthy competitor against the F-Type? Cadillac has thinned out the ATS-V lineup this year, leaving it with only the 2-door body style and one engine, a twin-turbo V6 with 464 horsepower. Compared to the F-Type’s standard turbocharged 4-cylinder, the ATS-V feels incredibly more powerful. However, the F-Type has two other engine options – a supercharged V6 and V8 – that put the oomph drivers expect back into the car. The F-Type also gets better fuel economy with 26 mpg combined compared to the ATS-V’s 20 mpg combined for their base powertrains. For those hoping to tote more than a driver and a passenger, the ATS-V is the best option with its backseat, although it’s cramped for anyone larger than small kids. The F-Type only has room for two, but its quality materials and extravagant cabin could be enough for drivers to overlook the negative. Both vehicles offer incredibly upscale interiors that can also be customized with packages and standalone options, but the F-Type’s standard 10-inch infotainment touchscreen is an impressive bonus.
