The 2018 Acura MDX and Infiniti QX60 are around the same price tag and offer similar features, but each offers a few different things to prospective buyers that could help shape their decisions toward buying the better one for their needs. One notable difference between the two is their weight, with the MDX weighing less than its rival, therefore making it feel a bit lighter and zippier on the road. It’s also smaller in stature, which makes it excellent at cornering. Interestingly, the MDX still has slightly more interior leg and headroom than the QX60, and substantially more cargo space. The Infiniti QX60 pulls slightly ahead in power, with its base engine offering more torque and horsepower than the base engine in the MDX, although the vehicles receive an equal fuel efficiency rating of 19 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. Neither vehicle outweighs the other in safety, though, with both offering a full host of features to keep drivers and passengers safe. Both come standard with front and side airbags, traction and stability control systems, adjustable seatbelts, and an available rearview camera and blind spot monitoring system.
