2019 Subaru Ratings, Reviews and Awards

There are two main entries for 2019 from Subaru. The first is the 2019 Subaru Forester, and the second is the 2019 Subaru Ascent. The re-envisioned Subaru Forester has a larger frame but maintains the initial boxy design. It has standard, Premium, Limited, Touring, and Sport trim lines in all. The longer wheelbase increases both passenger and cargo space, all-wheel drive, CVT transmission, and a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. Not bad for a 4-door, 182-hp SUV. Their other offering is the 2019 Subaru Ascent, which is also a mid-sized SUV. The 2019 Subaru Ascent has a 2.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 260-hp, and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to match it. The drive wheels are all wheel drive, which Subaru feels is standard for SUVs. It also offers seating for up to 8 passengers, intended to make it a suitable SUV for especially large crowds.
