2019 Ram Truck Ratings, Reviews and Awards

The main offering of Ram for 2019 is the 2019 Ram 1500, a lighter version of the truck's last model. It still has a signature coil spring rear suspension, intended to remove a great deal of the shaking caused in full-size pick-up trucks. It also comes with a mild hybrid system that's standard on the V6 and optional for V8 engines, which are designed to improve the fuel economy that is so often a problem with full-size trucks. The Ram 1500 has four-wheel drive and rear drive options, and an 8-speed automatic transmission to match. The Ram 1500 offers extended cab and crew cab body styles, without a standard body style to round out the list, so six-person seating should be the minimum. The engine options include a 3-liter V6 turbodiesel engine with 240 horsepower, a 3.6-liter V6 that raises the bar to 305-hp, and a 5.7-liter V8 with the highest expected horsepower at 395.
