2018 Nissan GT-R ratings and reviews
If the Nissan 370Z is the brand's everyday sports car, the 2018 Nissan GT-R is its top-of-the-line, performance-focused sports car. It's got the technology to rival cars from brands such as Aston Martin and Ferrari, but since it's a Nissan, it's more accessible. Good news for drivers is that Nissan introduced a new base level trim for 2018, the GT-R Pure, which joins the Premium, Track Edition, and Nismo trim models. Standard on all trim levels is a rearview monitor, power leather front seats, 8-inch touchscreen navigation system and dual-zone climate control. Premium models and up include an 11-speak Bose audio system. The top-of-the-line Nismo has a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 600 horsepower, improved suspension, additional brake cooling, and a reinforced body. The other three models have a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 565 horsepower. Either engine includes a 6-speed dual-clutch sequential automatic transmission.
