2018 Volkswagen Atlas ratings and reviews

An entirely new option, the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas is full of safety and tech features, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, a 6.5-inch touchscreen, automatic post-collision braking, and six airbags. Also included is VW's Intelligent Crash Response System. After an accident, the system unlocks the doors, turns on the hazards and cuts off the fuel supply. The standard engine on the 2018 Atlas is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Another engine option is a 3.6-liter V6 also with an automatic transmission and the choice of either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The Altas also includes VW's People First Warranty, a transferable warranty that offers up to six years or 72,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper protection. One notable extra available on the Atlas is a panoramic sunroof that stretches across the length of the vehicle, letting it lots of light and creating a convertible feel when it's open.
