2018 Toyota Tundra 4WD ratings and reviews

One of the things that sets the 2018 Toyota Tundra 4WD full-size pickup apart from other options in its category is the presence of a standard V8. All models come with either a 4.6-liter V8 engine or a 5.7-liter V8. The 4.6-liter engine is standard on lower level trims while the 5.7-liter V8 is available as an option and is standard on higher trim levels. Although the Tundra 4WD doesn't have a locking rear differential, it's still able to handle rugged terrain and steep hills. When it comes to fuel economy, the 4WD model leaves a bit to be desired. It gets 17 mpg/highway with the 5.7-liter engine and 18 mpg/highway with the 4.6-liter engine. While the Tundra 4WD won't be winning any fuel efficiency awards, it does offer plenty of safety features as standard equipment, including lane departure warning and auto emergency brakes.
