2018 Toyota Tacoma ratings and reviews
With the 2018 Toyota Tacoma, Toyota seems to answer the question "what can you do when you have one of the most popular pickup trucks in the country?" with "make it better." The 2018 Tacoma offers a new set of safety features, such as a lane departure alert and a pre-collision system. The pre-collision system automatically brakes the truck as needed if an obstacle is detected in the roadway. Other new safety features, included in the Safety Sense suite, include high-speed dynamic radar cruise control and automatic high beams. Also new for 2018 is a slightly updated exterior, including a new grille treatment. Gone is the 5-speed manual transmission, replaced with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. Engine options include a 2.7-liter inline-4 cylinder or a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 278 horsepower. The manual transmission is only available with the V6 while both two-wheel and four-wheel driver are available with either engine.
