2018 Subaru Forester ratings and reviews
Each of the six 2018 Subaru Forester trims offers a little something different for drivers, but even the base model includes plenty of standard technology that keeps passengers safe and comfortable without sacrificing a solid performance. The Forester’s SUBARU BOXER 4-cylinder engine is standard in the 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited, and 2.5i Touring, while the 2.0XT Premium and 2.0XT Touring boast a turbocharged version with 80 extra horsepower and more torque. The 2.5i includes Vehicle Dynamics Control, a traction control system, brake override, split-folding rear seats, and a color multifunction display. The loaded 2.0XT Touring offers Subaru’s high-end features, like active torque vectoring, and 18-inch, 5-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. Depending on the chosen engine and transmission configurations, the 2018 Forester can manage an estimated fuel range of up to 32 miles per gallon on the highway and 26 miles per gallon in the city to take drivers wherever they need to go.
