2018 Land Rover Ratings, Reviews and Awards
Land Rover’s 2018 group of sport utility vehicles has been updated for the year with a bevy of powerful features. The Land Rover Discovery has a fresh 340 hp 3.0L V6 engine which affords the vehicle with 18 combined mpg of fuel economy. The Discovery has FWD, and an 8-speed automatic transmission and a CommandShift sequential sport shift mode. The iconic Land Rover Defender has also been updated with a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine and a lightweight aluminum unibody. The Range Rover has also been updated to have these features, which when combined gives it a notable 28 miles per gallon of highway fuel efficiency. New options for the Range Rover include diesel engine fuel options and also a supercharged V8 SWB engine for added torque. These features are joined by cosmetic changes to the roof to make it more aerodynamic, which contributes to its superior fuel efficiency.
