2018 Kia Rio ratings and reviews
For 2018, the Kia Rio subcompact sedan has gotten a full makeover. It has a new platform and new suspension and now sits lower and is wider and longer. Inside, the cabin has gotten a new layout and includes numerous standard features, even on the base-level LX trim option. The LX trim comes with a 5-inch audio display, Sirius satellite radio, and controls on the steering wheels. The LX trim level does have hand-power window cranks, 15-inch wheels, and no center console or armrest. The two higher trim levels, S and EX, introduce additional features, such as Bluetooth connectivity and a rearview camera. There are no power seats available at any level. You get one choice of engine with 2018 Kia Rio, a 1.6-liter inline, 4-cylinder engine. The LX level has a 6-speed manual transmission as standard while the S and EX come with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
