The 2018 Chevrolet Volt has an abundance of new technology from a new eight-speaker audio system in the LT model to an available award-winning driver confidence package that includes blind spot monitors; rear cross-traffic alert, and park assist. The infotainment system in the Volt has been upgraded for 2018 as well with MyLink, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, two USB ports, and 4G LTE. The Volt charges in about four and a half hours. This small plug-in hybrid can run up to 53 miles on its battery alone, and up to 420 miles total between the battery and gas tank. Real-time information on fuel level, battery levels, and overall energy usage are available on the color, touchscreen driver information center and behind the steering wheel. The 2018 Volt is backed by both a 36-month or 36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 96-month or 100,000-mile hybrid electrical components warranty.
