2018 BMW Ratings, Reviews and Awards

BMW entered 2018 full-force with several significant changes to its vast lineup, plus some entirely new models and trims, including the X2 and a new, 6th generation of the M5. New to the redesigned M5 this year is 4WD, a sporty bumper and grille, a turbocharged V8 engine, and a plug-in version. The X2 filled a void in BMW’s lineup, giving drivers a subcompact SUV with plenty of luxury with its 7-speaker audio system, 6.5-inch infotainment screen, 228-horsepower engine, and available driver’s assistance technology like pedestrian detection and forward collision warning. The X3 saw several notable changes with powertrain upgrades in some trims, a massive 10.25-inch iDrive system with head up assistance, and expanded cargo room. BMW added standard LED headlights and fog lights to most of its vehicles, moved and boosted some packages with more features and sport accessories, and updated those with navigation to iDrive 6.0 technology.
