2017 Porsche Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Speed and performance were the frontrunners in the 2017 Porsche lineup, to which the manufacturer gave some massive boosts to the engines of several models to keep them as sporty and agile as their competition. Porsche shifted, added to, and removed some of its models this year to streamline its offerings, including making the Cayman and Boxster two body configurations for the 718 rather than their own models and packing them with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed manual transmission for extreme power. New to the famous Porsche 911 for 2017 was an available dual clutch transmission, standard infotainment, and an updated braking system. The Macan, in its 3rd year of production, got a significant makeover, too, with a new upper-level trim, the GTS, and an all-new base model that boasts all the features you’d expect from the manufacturer, like a rearview camera, twin-turbocharged engine, and improved aerodynamics thanks to redesigned styling.
