2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Crew Van ratings and reviews

Compared to its cargo van cousin, the 2017 Sprinter Crew Van sacrifices some space for seating. While the cargo van version can seat three people tops, the crew van has room for up to five. There's also 220.1 cubic feet of cargo space in the back for whatever it is you need to haul around. Two engine choices are available, a standard 2.1-liter four-cylinder with 161 horsepower and a seven-speed automatic transmission or a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel V6 engine with 188-horsepower and a five-speed automatic transmission. There's the option of 4WD, but 2WD is standard. The four-cylinder engine has a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds, and the V6 engine can tow up to 7,500 pounds. Plenty of safety features are available as optional extras, including lane-keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and a rearview camera.
