2017 Genesis Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Hyundai isn't exactly known for producing high-end automobiles. That might be why the brand decided to spin off its Genesis line into a stand-alone marque for 2017. In 2017, the new brand introduced to all-new models to the market, the G90 and G80. Notable about the two models is the suite of standard safety features included with each. Even the base level trims are loaded with features such as lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. Both the G80 and G90 have all-leather interiors and infotainment systems (the G80 has an eight-inch screen and the G90 a 12-inch screen). The G80 comes with a 3.8-liter V6 engine as standard while the G90 has a standard 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Both have the option of upgrading to a 5.0-liter V8, which trades fuel efficiency for more power.
