2016 Ram Truck Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Ever since it spun off from Dodge to become its own badge in 2010, RAM has shown its commitment to producing heavy-duty vehicles designed to meet a variety of work-related needs. The brand didn't give its models a considerable or significant refresh for 2016, but many of its vehicles saw a few small updates. Trucks in the 1500 series got a new center-console layout plus changes to the frame to improve performance in crashes. The 1500 lineup also added two new trims, the Laramie Limited and Rebel. The Limited trim is the more sophisticated of the two, with all-black leather upholstery and wood trim while the Rebel is the more rugged model, with skid plates, tow hooks, and 33-inch tires. RAM didn't neglect its 2500 or 3500 models in 2016. Both got Cummins turbodiesel engines, front park assist, and rearview cameras.
