2016 Nissan Frontier ratings and reviews

The 2016 Nissan Frontier, available in either King or Crew cab, is starting to show its age. Nissan's entry into the mid-size pickup truck category doesn't get many new updates for the new model year, aside from a few new paint color options and the option of adding a moonroof to some models. The base model, the Frontier King Cab S, has few standard features. It's got a manual transmission and is lacking power windows, air conditioning, and a radio. To get a stereo and air conditioning, you'll want to choose the S automatic version, which also provides Bluetooth and cruise control. The next trim up, the SV, adds in power mirrors and windows, an audio system with USB, and the NissanConnect app suite. Frontier King Cab models have a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine standard while a 4.0-liter V6 is standard on Crew Cab models. You also have the option of upgrading to the V6 in King Cab models.
