2016 Mitsubishi Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Mitsubishi made a few small changes to its lineup for 2016, the most notable being pressing ""pause"" on the Mirage, at least for the year. The brand also discontinued the Lancer Evolution model. The Mitsubishi i-MiEV, its electric car, returned to the market after taking 2015 off. Although the i-MiEV wasn't well received upon release, it didn't have many new updates when reintroduced in 2016. Notable changes affected the brand's 7-passenger compact SUV, the Outlander. While it didn't get a complete makeover in 2016, the Outlander did get a refresh. It emerged with a stylish, sophisticated interior and redesigned fascias. It also got a slightly improved 2.4-liter inline-4 engine with a continuously variable transmission. Outlander GT models continue to have a 3.0-liter V6 engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
