2016 Kia Rio ratings and reviews

Although three trim levels and two body styles are available for the 2016 Kia Rio subcompact, they all share one feature in common: a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine with 138 horsepower. The base model Rio LX comes with a six-speed manual while the EX and SX models offer a six-speed automatic transmission. The base model Rio LX is ideal for people who don't want a lot from their vehicle. It has manual windows, a tilt-only steering wheel, air conditioning, and a four-speaker stereo system. Surprisingly, the base model does offer power heated side mirrors. Step up to the next trim level, the EX and get power windows and locks, a telescoping steering wheel, and cruise control. Meanwhile, the top-level SX model has a seven-inch color touchscreen with UVO infotainment system, a navigation system, and a rearview camera. The five-door hatchback model has nearly 50-cubic-feet of cargo space.
