The 2016 Hyundai Elantra adds a few new features not seen on previous year models. New for the model year is the Value Edition SE Trim. The Value edition includes 16-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof, heated front seats, and a proximity key. The Value edition package joins the Sport package and Limited package as upgrade options for the base-level SE sedan. Otherwise, the SE includes air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and keyless entry as standard features. The next level up, the Sport trim, has heated seats, push-button start with proximity key, a power driver's seat, and 17-inch wheels. The Limited trim offers heated rear seats, leather upholstery, and dual-zone climate control. The base engine is a 1.8-liter inline-four-cylinder with manual transmission. A six-speed automatic transmission is available. A 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder engine is available on Elantra Sport models.
