2016 Ford Expedition EL ratings and reviews
Select a 2016 Ford Expedition EL trim level (5)
The 2016 Ford Expedition EL offers the same features and trim levels the Expedition, but with the added benefit of more interior space for cargo and passengers. The Expedition EL comes with an impressive 130.8 cubic feet of cargo space throughout, and 42.6 cubic feet behind the third row. A 3.5-liter V6 engine with EcoBoost powers the Expedition EL, along with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, hill start assist, and electric power-assisted steering. Cruise control, a universal garage door opener, and a rearview camera are standard across the board, while XLT adds a tilt and telescopic steering wheel and Ford SYNC with voice recognition. Blind spot monitoring, heated and power side mirrors, and voice-activated navigation come with the King Ranch trim, while a power moonroof, power running boards, satin-aluminum accents, and Agate stitching are included with Platinum. Each trim levels has optional standalone add-ons and packages, like load-leveling suspension for Platinum and 4-wheel drive for all trims.
