2015 Mazda Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Mazda kept upgrades for 2015 to a minimum, but that didn’t stop its popular hatchback, the Mazda3, from getting some incredible accolades, falling onto several “Top 10” lists by auto experts. The Mazda3 got the option of adding a manual transmission on the GT trim along with a larger engine, but most other features carried over from 2014’s overhaul. Interestingly, the Mazda5 entered the model year with the 6-speed manual transmission removed from its list of offerings. The CX-5 and CX-9 received minor additions, like convenient storage options for some CX-9 trims and advanced keyless entry for the CX-5’s Touring and Grand Touring packages. Mazda upgraded its Mazda6 with a new paint color, standard one-touch windows, and loaded packages for the Touring trim that add features like a surround sound system, navigation, and heated side mirrors. The most significant transformation came to the MX-5 Miata with a special 25th-anniversary edition and an available premium canvas top for all trims.
