2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD ratings and reviews
For 2015, Chevrolet completely revised its Silverado 2500HD heavy-duty work truck – twice, actually. Chevy redesigned the truck, beginning production in 2014 but later tweaking it toward the end of the year, although both versions include the same trim levels. The Silverado 2500HD comes in three trim levels, with WT the base model including standard features like cruise control, a four-speaker sound system, a 4.2-inch color display, 17-inch steel wheels, and a protective rubber floor covering. Smartphone integration, keyless entry, tinted rear windows, and power accessories come with LT, while LTZ gets 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, a power-sliding rear window, driver memory settings, and a MyLink system with an 8-inch touchscreen interface. Rear-wheel drive comes standard for each trim, but an all-wheel drive is an option. Drivers also have a choice between the standard 6.0-liter V8, a bi-fuel version of the same engine, and a turbocharged 6.6-liter V8 diesel with 765 lb-ft of torque.
