2014 Volvo Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Although nothing new came or left the 2014 lineup for Volvo, the company made sure its current models received important improvements to keep their competitive edge and remain true to the Volvo brand with the latest safety technology. Blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alerts became optional on almost every model and trim this year, giving drivers even more control over their vehicles and rides. The XC90 received only slight updates with a new paint color and optional interior and exterior features, but the rest of the 2014 models saw some revised styling, like the XC70’s front and rear-end makeover. New to the S80 was a more eye-catching three-spoke steering wheel and a zippier transmission, while the S60 got an interior upgrade and a stylish digital gauge cluster option. Perhaps the most focus went to the XC60 with enhanced traction control, new paint colors, and standard 18-inch alloy wheels.
