2014 Ram Truck Ratings, Reviews and Awards

After beginning production on the Ram ProMaster, the company’s only large van available in Canada or the United States, the previous year, Ram focused solely on its launch and updating its popular pickups in 2014. The ProMaster came with three trim levels, a standard V6 engine and 6-speed transmission and an optional EcoDiesel version, a rearview camera and parking assistance sensors, and an optional navigation system. The brand’s light-duty 1500 entered 2014 with an engine update after its recent redesign, removing the optional V8 and replacing it with a turbodiesel V6. The 2500 and 3500 both received optional air suspension, and all heavy-duty Ram pickups saw interior and exterior redesigns to make them look more like the more modern profile of the 1500. New to the 3500 was a 6.4-liter V8 that could take the place of the standard HEMI V8 with slightly less power.
