2014 Mercedes-Benz Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Coming after significant fresh updates to its 2013 lineup, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz family of luxury cars and SUVs received a few tweaks to keep them steady with competitors. The manufacturer didn’t leave any vehicle off its radar, giving small enhancements to its CL-Class with a new Premium 2 package with massaging seats, its G-Class with new paint colors, and several others that saw new paint options and package reconfigurations. An exciting addition to the line was an AMG Black Series model for the SLS sports coupe featuring a more powerful ride with better aerodynamics and other sporty features to make the car more aggressive on the road and track. The most significant changes were to the S-Class, which saw a new upgraded sound system, enhanced seat massagers, and several driver-assistance technology features like night vision and a forward-collision system. Start/stop assist, paddle shifters, and an optional 4-cylinder diesel engine were new to the E-Class this year.
