2014 Acura Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Acura’s 2014 lineup of vehicles is a winner. Starting with the ILX sedan, Acura’s reputation for producing high-quality compacts continues. The ILX has a four-cylinder 2.0L 148 hp engine capable of outputting 103 lb-ft of torque while maintaining a 10.6:1 engine compression ratio. Thanks to its automatic transmission and FWD, the ILX nets 28 miles per gallon of highway fuel efficiency and requires premium unleaded gas. The Acura RDX SUV, in contrast, uses a 3.5L V6 269 horsepower engine which can produce 185 lb-ft of torque provided that it uses the correct premium gas. With FWD and automatic transmission, the 183.5 inches of length in the RDX make it a comfortable ride. With a 12 miles per gallon of city fuel efficiency, the 16.1 gallon capacity of the RDX’s tank will be welcomed by drivers.
