Ford’s 2013 vehicle lineup continues their reputation for power and American-built manufacturing quality. The 2013 Ford C-MAX rounds out their crossover offering with a 2.0L four-cylinder engine. With this engine, the C-MAX exerts 139 hp at 6000 rpm. This power grants the C-MAX 129 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm, a notable improvement over prior years. With the C-MAX’s 12.3:1 compression ratio, the vehicle’s CVT transmission can get great fuel economy for a stunning 90 highway mpg. Though it may seem like the C-MAX’s polar opposite, the Fiesta hatchback also contains many characteristically Ford qualities like its 1.6L four-cylinder engine that can produce a whopping 6350 rpm and 112 lb-ft of torque. Via its five-speed manual transmission, the Fiesta’s fun aesthetic is also great for utility. Also in 2013, the Ford Fusion sedan brings a 2.5L engine to the mass market, making comfort and luxury as easy as turning the ignition.
