Infiniti’s 2013 selection of vehicles continues their reputation for stately and effective vehicles. The Infinity EX crossover has a few notable upgrades, including a V6 3.7L engine capable of producing 267 lb-ft of torque at 5200 rpm. Using its six-speed shiftable automatic transmission, the EX is trendy and easy to drive, handling lightly and responsively. The Infiniti JX 35 crossover is similarly endowed, equipped with a 3.5L V4 with 261 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque when operating at 4400 rpm. Using natural gas, the JX 35’s AWD and six-speed shiftable automatic transmission provision for a highway fuel economy of 28 mpg. Another green SUV, the QX 56 2WD, rounds out Infiniti’s lineup with a 5.6L engine capable of outputting 395 horsepower when at 5800 rpm while running with a combination of diesel and electric energy. The 4WD and six-speed manual transmission of the QX 56 give it the off-road power that is often lacking from hybrids.
