2013 Chevrolet Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Chevrolet’s 2013 selection of vehicles maintains their general aesthetics and smooth driving characteristics. The Chevrolet Avalanche LS 2WD utilizes a 5.3L V8 engine, complete with 316 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque. The Avalanche uses rear-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission to smoothly guide its 5701 lbs of mass with grace. Though much lighter, the Chevrolet Camaro convertible makes another appearance in the 2013 lineup, sporting a 3.6L V6 engine with 6800 maximum rpm for a power exertion of 319 horsepower. The Camaro’s 278 lb-ft of torque is more than enough to give its six-speed manual transmission the power it needs to jet the car around town or the countryside. The Chevrolet Equinox 1LT AWD is similarly powerful, rounding out Chevrolet’s crossover lineup for the year. Using a 2.4L engine with four cylinders, the Equinox can net 23 mpg in city fuel economy or 34 miles of highway fuel economy.
