2011 Mazda Ratings, Reviews and Awards

After introducing the second generation of the Mazda3 in 2010, 2011 was a relatively quiet year for Mazda. The automaker rolled out a few small changes on some of its vehicles, such as a new headlight and fog light design on the Mazda6, as well as new 17-inch wheels. Higher level models of the Mazda6, such as the Touring and Grand Touring, received Bluetooth controls. In 2011, Mazda also introduced a Special Edition of the MX5 Miata. Designed in honor of the 900,000 Miatas produced since 1990, only 750 units of the Special Edition were available. The Special Edition came in two colors, was built on the Grand Touring spec and had a power retractable hardtop. On the Mazda3, the only major change in 2011 was a refresh of the technology package, which now included rain-sensing front wipers.
