2011 MINI Ratings, Reviews and Awards

You can't get much more iconic than MINI. For 2011, the carmaker introduced a few subtle style adjustments and slight upgrades to its Cooper, Clubman, and Cooper convertible models. One change was a redesign of the front bumper. The redesign allows the car to meet updated pedestrian-safety rules in Europe. Additionally, the cars received more shapely borders surrounding the lower grills and fog lights. MINI also added five new wheel designs, available in three sizes. Comfort was often an issue with MINIs and the redesign of the cars' interior for 2011 sought to improve the situation. The controls got a color change, from silver to black and the audio controls were moved to underneath the speedometer. Under the hood, the 1.6 liter engines got a bit of a horsepower boost. The MINI Countryman saw the addition of an all-wheel-drive option.
