2009 Land Rover Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Ford Motor Company sold the Land Rover brand to Tata Motors along with Jaguar in 2008, bringing about a distinctively new lineup for 2009. While the exterior remains similar in design, Tata Motors pushed onward with the luxury often associated in Land Rover's sport utility vehicles. The flagship Range Rover now came in a high-end Autobiography trim featuring superb quality leather across the interior, large 20-inch twin-seven spoke alloy wheels and four-zone climate control. Debuted in 2008, the Land Rover LR2 only came in one trim option for the 2009 year with 19-inch alloy wheels, a unique grille, and body color painted bumpers. The transition to Tata Motors also saw the Land Rover LR3 split into a base HSE and luxury HSE classification. Quality wood and leather trim can be found on every model, as can increased safety options from antilock disc brakes to numerous airbags placed throughout each vehicle.
