2008 Lexus Ratings, Reviews and Awards

In 2008, Lexus wakes up a somewhat sleepy lineup with the surprisingly powerful all-new IS F. The IS F's 5.0 L, V-8 engine powers the rear-wheel-drive four-door sedan to heights of 416hp. It gets to 60mph in 4.2 seconds and gets a combined mpg of 19. The ES 350 has to wait another year for a major update, but with 272hp and a large 3.5 L, V-6 engine, it does get new reading lamps for the interior. The ES 350 gets a combined 23 mpg. A five-seater SUV, the RX 350 gets a combined 19-20 mpg on its 270hp, 3.5 L, V-6 engine (no updates here). The IS 250 and the IS 350 were both new in 2006 and still don't get major updates; they do, however, maintain a 204hp, 2.5 L, V-6 and a 306hp, 3.5L, V-6 engine, respectively.
