2007 Lincoln Ratings, Reviews and Awards

The luxury branch of the Ford Motor Company, Lincoln underwent a rebrand, changing the names of several of its models. Because the brand's Mark series had considerable name recognition, Lincoln introduced the "MK" branding throughout its lineup. Starting in 2007, the Lincoln Zephyr, the brand's mid-size sedan, was renamed the Lincoln MKZ. The company also introduced the Lincoln MKX that same year. The MKX was a crossover SUV. The Lincoln Navigator and Lincoln Town Car retained their names. Along with a new name, the Lincoln MKZ offered an improved powertrain for 2007, and the Duratec 35 V6 Engine came standard. The engine had a six-speed automatic transmission and 263 horsepower. The newcomer to the Lincoln stable in 2007, the MKX had two rows of seating and plenty of cargo space as well as the Duratec 35 V6 engine.
