2007 INFINITI Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Infiniti, the luxury arm of Nissan, often faced an uphill battle when it came to convincing car buyers to give its vehicles a try. The brand faces stiff competition not only from other Japanese luxury brands but also from German luxury automakers. One way that Infiniti learned to set itself apart was not to copy the offerings of its competitors, but instead to offer to fill in the voids left by those competitors. One example is the 2007 Infiniti G35. The G35 was completely redesigned for 2007, offering a more dramatic look and all-wheel and rear-drive with a V6 engine. Other features included a four-wheel active steering system and the choice of a six-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles built into the steering column (on the Sport Package). The G35 was available in three package options with the option of adding stand-alone features.
