2006 Nissan Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Nissan’s impressively large lineup of cars, trucks, and SUVs is one of the few that remains relatively constant through the years, with some of its vehicles from the 70s still on the market today. Despite its massive offerings, Nissan still seems to make room for notable upgrades each year. Small upgrades went to the Pathfinder, with a 6-disc auto CD changer added to a package for the SE trim and a new Majestic Blue exterior paint color, and the Altima, which received several add-on packages and optional satellite radio. The popular Maxima saw a few optional add-ons, like satellite radio and a hands-free phone system. Big updates awaited the Murano SUV with a new wheel and front-end style, improved visibility, Sunset Red and Brilliant Silver exterior colors, and an optional rearview camera on some trims. Before the Sentra’s makeover for the 2007 model year, it dropped its 2.5 S trim and received a CD changer as part of an optional package.
