2004 Honda Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Honda’s lineup underwent major changes in previous years. But for 2004, the lineup remains relatively unchanged from 2003. The only significant change to note is the updated 2004 Honda S2000. The two-passenger convertible sports car features a brand-new 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine. It produces 240 horsepower with 162lbs per square foot of torque. This system relies on a 6-speed manual transmission. Despite the improvement in power, the sports car retains 20 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon in the country. Other changes to the S2000 include slightly redesigned styling, new ABS brakes, and standard leather upholstery. The 2004 Honda Accord and Element also received minor tweaks. The Accord now comes with the option for a factory-installed XM Satellite radio while the Element has a new mid-range trim level. The other 2004 Honda models are the Civic, CR-V, Insight, Odyssey, and Pilot.
