2001 Honda Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Big news from Honda for 2001 is the total redesign and overhaul of its category-topping coupe and sedan, the Civic. The 2001 Civic is available in two body styles, either a four-door sedan or two-door coupe, and in four trims: DX, LX, EX, and HX. The 2001 Civic is one of the first Honda models to use the K-Series engine. Also new is the introduction of MacPherson struts and the use of a flat rear floor, pushing the Civic into the compact car category. While the Civic got a complete re-do in 2001, the Accord, it's bigger cousin, got just a few small updates, including a slight adjustment to its styling, such as new wheel designs. Traction control is a new feature on the 2001 Accord as well. Elsewhere in the lineup, vehicles such as the Passport, Odyssey, CR-Z, and Insight got few, if any, updates.
