2000 Lexus Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Lexus had a wide range of vehicles in production in the year 2000. From the compact Lexus IS 300 that offers both wagon and sedan versions to the full-size luxury model, the Lexus LS 430, the 2000 models included several popular and successful vehicles. Although the LS 430 did not make it to market until 2001, it debuted in 2000. Its features, including adaptive cruise control and a V-8 engine that received an Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle certification. The Lexus GS 300, which received a drastic change in appearance the following year, has plenty of horsepower and torque to offer as a mid-luxury vehicle. Lexus also produced two SUV models in 2000. The Lexus LX 470 first featured standard brake assist and Vehicle Stability control in 2000, while the RX 300, a mid-size luxury crossover, comes with both all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive options. Their popular grand tourer, the Lexus SC, ended its first generation run in 2000, reappearing with a new design for 2001 sales.
