In the 1970s, GMC's full-size van was king. Its cavernous cargo hold made it as popular with swinging singles as with blue collar working men. The Savana is the descendent of the old GMC van, and it remains a true workhorse. Unlike a big Sport Utility Vehicle, the Savana's empty interior shell can accommodate a vast amount of cargo, tools and equipment or can be outfitted to seat up to 15 people. The Savana also makes a wonderful conversion van. GMC's line of Vortec engines are among the most powerful in the industry.
