Simonton earns the highest score in the Price Paid for Products and Services Received factor (789 vs. 729 industry average), outscoring the next-highest-performing brand by 39 points. Simonton scores 94 points higher than the average brand that sells windows at a higher price point, further demonstrating its commitment to providing its customers with value.
Standing behind its products is another area in which Simonton excels. The brand earns the highest score in the Warranty factor (792 vs. 709 industry average).
Simonton Receives the Highest Ratings for Installation Service
According to the 2012 Windows and Patio Doors Satisfaction Study, a majority of consumers opt to hire an independent contractor or remodeler to install their windows or patio doors. Simonton receives the highest ratings for installation service (8.48 vs. 8.22 industry average, on a 10-point scale) and the highest scores in four of the five installation attributes: Workmanship of installation; Timeliness of installation; Cleanliness of worksite; and Responsiveness of installer.

The study also shows that consumers choose Simonton products primarily based on a professional recommendation (such as a contractor or architect), demonstrating that the brand is relied on by both contractors and consumers. Further, satisfaction among Simonton customers who primarily relied on a professional recommendation is 32 points higher than among customers of the next-highest-performing brand. Simonton also receives the highest satisfaction ratings from customers who purchased directly through a contractor or remodeler.
About the Study
The 2012 Windows and Patio Doors Satisfaction Study is based on responses from more than 2,500 customers who purchased new windows or patio doors during the previous 12 months. Customers may have installed the windows or patio doors themselves or with help from family and friends; hired an independent contractor, handyman or remodeler; used an installation service provided by a home improvement retailer; or used an installation service recommended or provided by the product manufacturer. The study was fielded in January and February 2012.
