“NJM was established in 1913 to operate in a true mutual fashion for the sole service and benefit of its policyholders. Our mission today is the same as it was more than 100 years ago—to provide value-based insurance solutions to present and future policyholders with the highest levels of service, integrity, and financial stewardship.
The greatest measure of our effectiveness in meeting or exceeding this mission is the direct feedback we receive from our policyholders. One avenue for such feedback comes in the form of independent market research, such as the J.D. Power U.S. Auto Insurance StudySM (the Study), which provides a means for consumers to provide their valuable insights.
The Study invites customers to share the personal experiences they have had with their auto insurers in the key areas that drive customer satisfaction, and provides useful feedback on ways we can work to improve our policyholders' experience and address their changing needs. Because the results of the Study are based exclusively on policyholder feedback, we are thrilled that NJM once again scored significantly above the regional and national averages for overall customer satisfaction in this year’s study, while achieving our highest score ever in the nine years we’ve been a part of it.
