What is the Insurance Performance Portal?

The J.D. Power Insurance Performance Portal is the premier tool insurance carriers can use to understand their financial performance vs. competitors across all P/C lines of business and to determine the right level of investment in customer satisfaction for select lines of business. This interactive tool allows all carriers to gain deeper insight into the effectiveness of their investments in various aspects of their company’s performance, including CSAT and their financial performance vs. the competition.

What do you get?

The Insurance Performance Portal provides carriers with access to operational/financial performance ratios within the J.D. Power Voice of Experience (VoX) online analytical tool. This tool allows you to view your company’s operational performance and to compare performance vs. competitors and/or groups of competitors. Analysis is available for all lines of business and various aggregations of 58 lines of business for 3,000+ P&C insurance companies.

6 years of operational/financial ratios (2010-2015) on both net and direct premium bases; ratios will be updated annually with the next year’s financials reported in the Annual Statutory Financial Reports (as received from SNL Financial)

14 operational/financial ratios for every company and every line of business

Trending of operational ratios by line of business for every insurer (2010-2015)

Trending of customer satisfaction for select lines of business and select insurers (2010-2015)
