- J.D. Power’s product expert team conducted static and dynamic VoC-based product evaluation. We identified quality problems from a customer point of view, not only focusing on hard quality issues and defects, but also on soft quality factors leading to difficult to use complains and impacting the overall vehicle quality perception

Assembly Plant VoC Capability/Readiness Improvement
Process to more effectively align factory operations with consumer requirements
- Determine/improve plant capability for high quality launch/production
- Provides rapid and concise evaluation of the in-plant quality systems as they relate to effectively preventing, detecting, prioritizing and resolving problems from the perspective of the customer
- Provides definition and understanding of where gaps exist in in-plant quality systems (in regards to identifying and resolving customer defined problems) and taking appropriate steps to close those gaps

Product Development Process (PDP) Improvement
Process to improve how effectively VoC is utilized into the PDP in order to design into the vehicle very high satisfaction
- Improve the product definition, targets, execution, and overall alignment to customer expectations
- Improve processes used to identify and integrate VoC into the PDP
- Improve how quality gates and milestones utilize VoC info
- Improve the use of VoC in target setting/trade-off process decisions
