Steve Shannon is a 32+ year veteran in car business. He currently consults for a few digital technology companies, in particular serving as the auto industry advisor board member for Yext. Prior to this, Steve served as the Vice President of Marketing for Hyundai Motor America where he was responsible for all marketing activities in the United States, including all brand communications, dealer association advertising, digital activities including H.com, CRM, sports sponsorships, and other experiential marketing activities. Before joining Hyundai, Shannon spent more than 25 years at GM, in his final position serving as Executive Director of marketing and product planning for Cadillac. Shannon graduated from Harvard with a Bachelor of Arts in History and received his Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from Columbia.
