Greg Truex is a Senior Director in the U.S. Services Industries Division at J.D. Power. He is responsible for project management, product development and client services, and manages the division’s 180 proprietary client accounts, including dozens of projects for U.S. federal agencies and commercial organizations.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Truex worked on several research projects and consulting engagements as a Research Specialist, Research Supervisor, Research Manager, Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and Director at J.D. Power. As a Research Manager, he and his research team received the American Honda Premier Partner Award in 2006 and 2007, and were the first recipients of the award given to a team at J.D. Power.

Earlier, Mr. Truex was an intern in the Office of the Senior Advisor to the President, at The White House. There, he assisted in coordinating schedules for the President and cabinet members, as well as prepared political briefings for the President’s staff. In addition, Mr. Truex was an intern for Congressman Elton Gallegly, and also served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Truex received a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a master’s degree in public policy from American University in Washington, D.C.
