2010 Ford Focus

Overview
The Ford Focus is a compact car that is currently sold as a 2-door coupe or as a 4-door sedan. The Focus is Ford's entry-level model, sitting beneath the Ford Fusion in the brand lineup. The 5-passenger Focus is designed to be fun-to-drive, yet still deliver impressive fuel economy with a standard 4-cylinder powerplant.
History/Genealogy
The Ford Focus was introduced as a 2000 model. In its first year, it was offered in 3-door hatchback, 4-door sedan, and 5-door wagon body styles with a standard 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. The current second-generation model debuted in early 2007 as a 2008 model-year vehicle. The hatchback and wagon models had been dropped in favor of a coupe and sedan lineup that are both nearly identical in dimension-right down to passenger and cargo capacity. The Ford Focus is expected to be redesigned for the 2012 model year.
